Banyan Rag Paper
Artists’ handmade paper made from 100% long fibred cotton rag. One sheet of Banyan is 110 x 160 cm and is one of the largest handmade rag papers made anywhere in the world.

Internally sized with neutral pH size. Tub sized with gelatine. Acid free. Rough surface.

For watercolour and all painting and drawing media. When used for oil painting first prime with acrylic gesso.

Because of the nature of the handmaking process and the uneven deckle edge there may be some slight variation in the sheet dimensions.

You can buy just one sheet of any one paper but overall you must buy a minimum of 5 sheets selected from any of the Extra Large Rag Papers. These papers are supplied lightly rolled in an extra large tube. Please unroll after receiving to let it settle into a flat sheet again.
